PIANO (from 6 years old) VOICE (from 12 years old) Location: Dolce Voce Music Studio, 1551 Julie Lane in Los Altos 1 hour: $60.00 Consulting fees: $80.00 Call Patricia NICOLAS at 650-964-5261 DOLCE VOCE MUSIC STUDIO POLICY All students will be exposed to a variety of repertoire, theory, ear training, and performance opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to offer you a complete picture of music through piano or voice lessons and develop lasting musical skills. ATTENDANCE Regular attendance at lessons is essential for the student’s success. 24 hours cancellation notice is free of charge. Less than 24 hours cancellation notice will be charged $30. Without cancellation notice, lessons are due in full. Please, arrive on time for all lessons. TUITION One hour voice, piano or music theory = $60 Fees are payable at every lesson unless other arrangements with the teacher. Make checks payable to Patricia Nicolas. ASSURING YOUR CHILD’S SUCCESS IN PIANO LESSONS Successful, satisfying piano study is dependent upon correct and consistent practice habits. - Arrange a set time every day for your child to practice and insist on being kept. - Provide a practice setting free from distraction (TV, sibling…) - Check on your child’s practice: sitting posture, arms and hands position, rounded fingers… - Make sure that your child brings all music books and materials to the lessons in a music case or tote bag. - Check the music notebook regularly and help your child follow the directions. - Make sure your child finishes all written assignments and is prepared for each lesson. - Keep your child’s nails clipped short. |
