“I’m 8 years and if you want me to go to school, I want to play the piano and join the choir!” I hated school...

I didn’t give my parents any choice... Bless their souls they did listen to me!

Since then I’ve been practicing the piano, singing and learning as much as I can about music and musicians.

Later, I left my little town and studied more seriously at the French National Conservatory of Music in Toulouse, France. The teaching there, was difficult and very... sober!

One day I had to fly to the USA! Nice change of scenery...

Having studied opera and art songs in Europe, I was very happy to learn more about American folk songs, musicals, and Jazz music during four years of voice training at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA.

Now I’m just having fun all day long, practicing all styles of music with my pianists and singers!

I do not perform anymore, or in rare occasions at weddings.

I’m much more fascinated by research in pedagogy!

I want to find new and different games for teaching the piano and singing...
